Mini Family Reunion

Last night my family and I got to spend some time with relatives of mine that I haven't seen in just about 25 years or more! It was so fun! It was neat to tell the kids that these were their great-great Aunts and Uncle, and have them try to comprehend what exactly that meant! We told stories and laughed and hugged and really enjoyed seeing each other again. I left feeling so proud to be a part of their lives, and thrilled that they are a part of mine, and now a part of our kids lives too. It is really neat to belong to people, and share a common history. 

This morning, our oldest son said that seeing them and hearing their stories made him wonder what HIS stories would be someday. I can't wait to hear them too!
