These cookies are a staple in our home. We keep the dough on hand and bake them up fresh whenever we want some. It's a great cookie!
2 sticks butter, softened
3/4 cup white sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 cups flour
2 cups chocolate chips
Cream butter and sugars. Add eggs one at a time. Add vanilla. Add dry ingredients, mix well. Add Chocolate chips.
Drop by rounded spoonfuls on cookie sheet.
Bake at 375 degrees for 7-8 minutes.
