This is an awesome, beautiful and easy dessert salad. It comes from one of my favorite cookbooks,
Just A Matter Of Thyme - Among Friends
1 large package cherry Jell-O
water
cherry pie filling
1 TBSP sugar
4 oz. cream cheese, softened
8 oz. whipped topping
small can of crushed pineapple, well drained
pecans
Mix Jell-O with HALF of the water recommended. Add cherry pie filling and sugar. Mix well and allow to set.
Mix cream cheese and whipped topping until smooth. Fold in pineapple. Spread this mixture over set Jell-O.
Sprinkle with pecans.
