This is a super easy way to make fudge. We make it every Christmas! Enjoy!
1 1/2 sticks butter
3 cups sugar
1 5 oz. can evaporated milk
2 cups chocolate chips
1 7 oz. jar marshmellow creme
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup nuts, chopped (optional)
In 4 quart microwavable bowl, melt butter. Add sugar and evaporated milk. Stir thoroughly. Place in microwave and cook on high for 3 minutes.
Scrape bowl thoroughly, don't let any sugar crystallize on side of bowl. Cook on high another 3 minutes. Scrape bowl well again. Cook another 3 minutes. Scrape bowl. Cook a final 1 1/2 minutes. Let stand in microwave 2 minutes.
Stir in chocolate, marshmellow creme and vanilla. Stir until smooth. Fold in nuts.
Pour into 13X9 pan and allow to cool.
